Ashley here to share with you another one of my fabulous finds! I was at my local Dollar Tree collecting my supplies to make glue sponges (this will be my first year trying these so any advice is appreciated 😉). I started looking around the Back to School section and BAM! there was the most fabulous thing I had ever seen. Now before I tell you what it was let me just state first that I went into Dollar Tree telling myself, "only sponges and containers, that's it!" But does that ever really work? Not for me!
Alright, back on track so it will be easier for me to show you what I found then to try and explain it, so see pictures below:
Isn't this just AMAZING! It is a folder with a zipper pocket on the front! To say I am in love would be an understatement! 😍 When I saw these I instantly thought CENTERS!!!! I am going to put the activity in the zipper pouch and the recording sheet/follow up sheet in the folder. I am so excited and to make it even better it comes in these super fun bright colors! I have pink, blue, and green! Now go run out to your local Dollar Tree and snag up these bad boys!
Feel free to comment with other ways you might use them!
Stay Fabulous!
Hello Fabulous Teachers and Friends!!!
Classroom Fairy Godmother 👑... yes, you heard correctly, I have a Classroom Fairy Godmother 😲
Today, I am overwhelmed with joy because of a friend, who I now call my Classroom Fairy Godmother, has helped me and my classroom out tremendously!!!
Just a little background about my school, I work in an urban district with the majority of my students being low income and many homeless. I do what I can as a teacher, I buy many supplies for my classroom and spend many of my own money to provide a fabulous kindergarten experience for my kinders. After all, kindergarten is the foundation of education where the love for learning blossoms. In kindergarten we use lots of supplies and go through them quickly.
Now on to my fabulous Classroom Fairy Godmother... A couple of weeks ago my Classroom Fairy Godmother texted me to let me know that she was heading out to Staples to grab many 50 cent deals and wanted to know if she could buy anything for my classroom. I hesitated because I don't usually like to ask for help for anything but my Fairy Godmother was not having it, not one bit!!! She not only went out to Staples (several times) she reached out to her family and friends to help. My previous post was on kindness, I challenged all my fabulous readers to be the best person they could be and my Classroom Fairy Godmother and her helpers have accepted the challenge.
Below are pictures of the fabulous donation...
(not pictured, but I also received many backpacks, lunch boxes and coats)
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to my Classroom Fairy Godmother and all her helpers that made my teacher heart happy. My kindergarten kiddos will be super happy with all the amazing supplies 😘
